Meghan’s security to be reviewed after move back to UK after Harry’s protection discussed in threat assessment

THE Duchess of Sussex’s security is set to be reviewed for the first time since Meghan and Harry moved back to the UK.

The Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec) has written to the Duke of Sussex and informed him that his situation was discussed at a meeting last week.

It was agreed that Meghan’s security will also be reviewed at the same time, marking the first official review into her security since the couple left the monarchy in 2020.

Ravec has agreed to give the Sussexes a full review of their security now that they are residents in the UK and their children have both started at British schools.

The Sun earlier this month revealed that the Duchess of Sussex was nervous about doing the school run for children Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.

A source told The Sun: “The school run is a tricky issue and I understand why they are nervous about it.”

Despite the Ravec review, which indicates they are willing to review the Sussexes’ situation, Harry is said to feel “numbed” by his long struggle to secure protection for his family.

His last full risk assessment as a working member of the family was conducted in April 2019.

Then, he was deemed such a target that he was put in the highest category.

The only two people at a similar risk level at that time were Elizabeth II, the monarch, and Theresa May, the then PM.

And, the couple have since reportedly switched their children’s school just days after the start of term over security concerns.

Harry and Meghan’s children, Archie, 7, and Lillibet, 5, only met their new classmates last week.

The two young royals have now been moved to a new school, with their parents blaming traffic for the change.

Sources close to the couple reported to HELLO! Magazine that Harry, 41, and Meghan, 45, had no issue with the school itself.
