If you’re eager to know what’s to come in the aftermath of Zoe Slater’s (Michelle Ryan) tragic death in EastEnders then you’re in luck as we’ve got a first look at the next episode.
Monday’s (September 14) visit to the Square saw devastation aplenty after Kat (Jessie Wallace) found daughter Zoe dead in her bed.
Zoe had sustained a head injury on the previous day and the pain took hold while she lay on her own, crying out for her mum.
Heartbreaking scenes followed as, after making the discovery for himself, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) shared the tragic news of Zoe’s passing with the rest of the family.
Kat was utterly broken as the police came to take Zoe’s body away, breaking down in the Square as Alfie consoled her.
The episodes that follow will be highly emotional ones, dealing with the aftermath of what happened to Zoe, and here are some fresh details about what tomorrow’s episode has in store.

The devastation continues at the Queen Vic as the Slater’s attempt to make any sense of Zoe’s death. Consumed with grief, Kat takes herself away from the rest of the family.
Later, she exits the pub and heads to Container Junction, where she is comforted by Oscar Branning (Pierre Counihan-Moullier), who talks about mum Tanya’s experience following the death of Abi.

Afterwards, she heads back to the Vic but, discovering that everyone has held a vigil for Zoe in her bedroom, she orders them all out.
Word of Zoe’s death filters through Walford – and it impacts the person who last saw her alive the most. We’re looking at you, Max Branning (Jake Wood).
And speaking of Max, the wedding shenanigans of last week continue to impact all of those involved.
Elsewhere in the Square, Penny Branning (Kitty Castledine) worries about her unborn baby as she begins to experience labour pains. She’s reassured by doctors that everything is fine.
