A WOMAN was allegedly sexually assaulted on a busy city-centre train by a man who tried to disappear into the crowd.
Cops have released CCTV in the hunt for the man after the victim was targeted while travelling through London on the Elizabeth line.
The British Transport Police (BTP) said the alleged attacker boarded a train at Tottenham Court Road at around 7.30pm on April 19.
As the locomotive pulled into Bond Street station, he reportedly assaulted a woman before attempting to disguise himself within the crowd.
He then alighted from the carriage at Ealing Broadway.
Officers launched a probe as they released CCTV of a man they believe has information that could help their investigation.

A BTP spokesperson said: “Detectives continuing to investigate a sexual assault on board an Elizabeth Line train are today releasing new images in connection.
“At around 7.30pm on Sunday 19 April, a man boarded an Elizabeth line train at Tottenham Court Road.
“Once the train arrived at Bond Street, he sexually assaulted a woman, attempting to disguise his actions within the crowd.

“He then got off the train at Ealing Broadway.
“Detectives would like to speak to the man pictured, as they believe he may have information that could help their investigation.
“Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or by calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 115 of 20 April.
“Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
