DUTCH third tier side G.V.V.V. have sacked their management team following a brutal mid-match scrap on Saturday.
The league match was abandoned after a scuffle broke out in the tunnel, leaving one player with three less teeth.
Manager Dennis van Beukering and his assistant Jhon van Beukering were both relieved from their duties following the incident.
Ugly scenes took over yesterday’s Tweede Divisie clash – the Dutch third tier – between IJsselmeervogels and G.V.V.V.
The incident in the highest amateur division of Dutch football saw clashes between the clubs’ supporters break out at the sports complex in Bunschoten.
IJsselmeervogels ace Quiermo Dumay, 25, was assaulted in the tunnel.

The defender was left without three teeth and a bloodstained kit.
And it has been suggested that Dumay was struck by one of the assistant coaches from G.V.V.V.
This could explain the club’s decision to wave goodbye to their management staff, as an official statement read: “Violence has no place whatsoever within our association or within the values that G.V.V.V. stands for. We emphatically distance ourselves from every form of physical violence, both on and off the football pitch.”
Before adding: “Based on the information currently available, the board has decided that our head coach Dennis van Beukering and assistant coach Jhon van Beukering will no longer perform any duties for G.V.V.V. effective immediately.”

As a result of the chaotic scenes, the game was abandoned with G.V.V.V. leading 2-0 with goals from Quincy Veenhof and Justin Spies.
Police claimed that there was already unrest before the clash in the tunnel and that fans were already being hostile.
G.V.V.V full club statement after tunnel scrap
Statement G.V.V.V. in response to events at IJsselmeervogels: “G.V.V.V. is deeply shocked by the events that took place on Saturday afternoon during halftime of the match against IJsselmeervogels.
“Violence has no place whatsoever within our association or within the values that G.V.V.V. stands for. We emphatically distance ourselves from every form of physical violence, both on and off the football pitch.
“The board took immediate action after the match concluded and has initiated a thorough investigation into the events and the role of those involved.
“Based on the information currently available, the board has decided that our head coach Dennis van Beukering and assistant coach Jhon van Beukering will no longer perform any duties for G.V.V.V. effective immediately.
“Furthermore, the board has concluded that there is insufficient basis to continue the cooperation with them. The formal and contractual settlement of this will take place carefully and directly with those involved.
“In the interest of the investigation, the persons involved, and any related procedures, G.V.V.V. will not make any further statements on this matter at this time. G.V.V.V. will provide full cooperation to investigations by the police, the KNVB, and other competent authorities.
“Our thoughts are first and foremost with the injured player from IJsselmeervogels. We wish him much strength and a speedy recovery.
“We also deeply regret that players, staff members, volunteers, and supporters of both associations have been confronted with these events. The board of G.V.V.V.”
