  • Manchester City win: Big-spending Manchester City’s perfect start to the campaign has flown under the radar somewhat, but they’ve been mightily impressive, winning each of their last four in all competitions, and can take advantage of their rivals’ leaky defence.
  • Over 2.5 goals: United have conceded twice in each of their opening three Premier League games against fairly weak attacks, while both sides have registered a healthy 19 shots on target across the first three matchdays. Both have netted seven, and both rank in the top four for xG. Goals seem likely.
  • Erling Haaland to score: He’s motoring. Haaland has scored eight goals in seven Premier League appearances against United, with only Salah and Shearer scoring more against the Red Devils. He’s also already struck five times in his last three outings.
  • Enzo Fernandez to assist: Enzo has provided an assist against Porto, while creating three chances in that game plus a further two on his debut against Coventry. His advanced role should give him opportunities to supply Haaland, who, as we know, doesn’t often miss.
