ROBERTO DE ZERBI was caught having a heated conversation with Mathys Tel after toothless Tottenham’s latest flop.
Spurs bored their home crowd with a drab goalless draw against Everton on Saturday evening — extending their winless Premier League start to four games.

De Zerbi‘s side have lost two of those, and still haven’t even scored a goal.
So, unsurprisingly, the Italian boss was far from happy at full time as boos rang down.
The 47-year-old was spotted on the pitch to have an animated chat with attacker Tel, 21.
De Zerbi appeared to be raising his voice with the versatile forward responding in that appeared to be a deflated manner.

The ex-Brighton boss was asked about the incident during the post-match press conference.
And the former Marseille manager insisted he was simply “coaching” one of his players.
De Zerbi responded: “Yes, I coached him on the pitch. What did you understand?”
The reporters asked for more details and the Tottenham boss explained he was instructing Tel how to position his body.

And the former Shakhtar Donetsk manager insists there is no problem between the two men.
De Zerbi added: “The body shape. He is a striker and the striker can play with the shoulder on the goal.
“If we are playing with [James] Maddison, [Mohammed] Kudus and Savio, he has to play as a striker and the striker has to look at the goal or the cross from [Andy] Robertson.
“He has to stay inside because he started as a striker, eh? Now he is playing as a winger but he started his career as a striker, but I love Mathys as a player, as a guy and there is not a problem.”

De Zerbi saved Tottenham from relegation last season in a dramatic season finale.
However, the North Londoners’ woes continue this term despite splashing a staggering £300million on new signings.
In fact, Spurs smashed their own transfer record twice on Mateus Fernandes and Sandro Tonali, who arrived on £85m and £100m respectively.
