No7 Good Intent Pocket Pebble Nourishing Hand Cream, £9.95 for 50ml, boots.com: I’m a sucker for cute packaging, so I’m not above admitting the soft-touch pebble was what drew me in.
Thankfully, what’s inside is just as good.
The formula is the most lightweight of the three, and absorbs almost instantly, and the dinky size makes it great for on-the-go – especially given the attached key-chain means it can double up as a bag charm so it’s easy to find.
It’s unscented, so great for sensitive or broken skin, and contains soothing niacinamide and camellia seed oil to calm irritation.

L’Occitane Shea Butter Hand Cream, £20 for 75ml, uk.loccitane.com: This has been a cult classic for more than three decades, so I’m extremely late to the game with my newfound love for this ultra-rich balm.
Because of the thick consistency, a little goes a really long way. The cream also leaves skin hydrated for hours, which makes it great value for money as you don’t need to reapply often.
It’s not greasy and doesn’t feel heavy on the skin, either.
If I’m honest, it might just be the perfect hand cream.
