BIRMINGHAM CITY star Luis Vasquez left fans in disbelief after missing an absolute sitter against Derby County on Saturday afternoon.
And some suggested it was the worst miss they’d ever seen.

Argentine Vasquez was gifted probably the easiest chance he’s ever had in the late stages of Birmingham‘s early trip to Derby.
However, somehow, with the whole goal to aim at and about three yards out, the forward blazed it over.
He is still yet to score for Birmingham, who he joined on a three year deal from Belgian side Anderlecht this summer.
And he definitely isn’t going to get an easier chance to open his account in English football than the one he passed up today.

Fans on X have inevitably reacted to the miss, with some giving very damning verdicts on the blunder.
One wrote: “Is this the worst miss ever in Championship football? Or professional football???”
Another said: “Didn’t realise how bad it actually was until the replay, might genuinely be the worst miss I’ve ever seen one of our players have.”
While a third added: “Comfortably the worst miss I have ever seen – Wow!”

Fortunately for Vasquez, Birmingham held on to the three points as they won 2-1.
The victory gave them their first three points of September, thanks to goals from Carlos Vicente and Seung Ho Paik.
There was some concern during the game after Derby striker Henrik Meister was stretchered off after going down off the ball.
Manager John Eustace gave an update later, revealing he was “OK”.
