AN Afghan national accused of killing a Brit aid worker and stuffing her body into a suitcase in Athens has been “badly beaten up” in prison.
Elisabeth Ross, 38, was discovered in a derelict building on July 18 – before cops cuffed and jailed champion boxer Sharif Ahmadzai, 26.

The suspected murderer is now languishing behind bars in a notorious hellhole prison in Greece – where inmates have pummelled the “lady killer”.
Insiders told The Sun that Ahmadzai had “felt the full force” of justice meted out in Korydallos, one of Europe’s toughest jails.
“He was subject to fierce attack and was badly beaten up”, according to custodial sources.
They added: “Inmates don’t like lady killers and they soon made that known.”

The champion boxer was jailed in August after being charged with homicide with intent, robbery and weapons offences.
He was moved to Korydallos, the country’s largest jail, pending trial.
Under Greek law he could be detained for up to 18 months in the hellish prison – home to terrorists, rapists and some of Greece’s most hardened criminals.
Cops citing staff in the correctional institutional said the attack occurred not long after the Afghan arrived at Koyrdallos.

“He was targeted by other prisoners quite soon,” they said, adding: “He had to be taken to the infirmary.”
Ahmadzai, who arrived in Greece as a child migrant, has denied murdering the Scottish aid worker.
He claimed to have discovered the woman already dead in her apartment – which she rented from the charity the Afghan ran for refugees.
But in police testimony the Afghan confessed not only to moving Ross’s body but also to using the Brit’s credit cards to withdraw more than 10,000 euro from ATM machines in Athens.
“Let’s just say that a lot of people at Korydallos don’t believe his story,” said another insider.
“You find someone dead, you move their body, you steal their money, you don’t alert the authorities… it’s all a bit hard to believe.”
Ross’s remains were discovered on July 18 in a suitcase in a derelict car park in Kypseli, a neighbourhood in central Athens.
It took days to identify the woman because she was already so badly decomposed.

Before Elisabeth had been formally identified, Ahmadzai stepped forward and admitted to sending what police described as “misleading” text messages from the Brit’s phone to family and friends.
But it was the bombshell testimony of his American wife which proved “crucial” in arresting Ahmadzai, cops revealed.
Alaina Hall, who shares a young child with the Afghan, said she alerted cops after a series of chilling coincidences.
She said she woke up on the evening of July 15 to find him missing, but when she traced his location it showed him at Elisabeth’s apartment.
Ahmadzai had also given her 2,550 euros (£2,200) and a new iPhone 17 Pro, which she feared may have been bought using Elisabeth’s stolen bank cards.
Greek police told The Times: “The testimony of the wife has been crucial and it would appear that she did not want to be part of the crime committed by her husband.
“Without her and CCTV evidence, we would not have been able to find this man.”
It is unclear if Ahmadzai has appealed to be transferred to another detention centre in Greece.
