HULL CITY have confirmed Sorba Thomas has miraculously escaped unharmed after terrifyingly flipping his £60,000 motor outside the training ground.
Fans feared the worst when images of the 27-year-old winger’s upside down Land Rover Defender, complete with a personalised reg, began circulating online on Friday.
Witnesses then described seeing the £10m star’s car skidding on its roof on a residential street after a high-speed smash.
Photos online showed shocked residents in dressing gowns looking on at the aftermath of the crash.
But the Tigers confirmed that the deadline day signing from Stoke City had somehow suffered no injuries.
A statement said: “Hull City is relieved to confirm that Sorba Thomas is unharmed following a road traffic accident near to the club’s Cottingham training ground.

“The club is aware of images of Sorba’s car circulating on social media and can reassure supporters that he has sustained no injuries and emerged from his vehicle completely unscathed.”
While the club have confirmed the star escaped unscathed physically, boss Sergej Jakirovic must decide whether Thomas will travel with the squad to Stamford Bridge to take on Chelsea tomorrow.
The Tigers, still yet to concede, put their unbeaten record on the line against the free-scoring Blues.
Ex-West Ham trainee Thomas, capped 27 times by Wales, only secured his shot at the Prem this month.
