A man has been found after four days missing in the Daintree Rainforest in Far North Queensland.

Ariel Simon, 31, was reported missing on September 7, last seen entering bushland near Cape Tribulation Road in Cow Bay, north of Port Douglas, about 1.30pm.

When he had not returned by 3pm, police were alerted and a search was launched, involving police, SES members, the Rescue 510 helicopter and POLAIR.

Simon was found by the search party on Friday.
