The new design is based on Chelsea‘s away kit from the first two seasons of the Premier League.

Primarily white, the shirt includes blue trim and thin red pinstripes.
It also features the club’s old badge, rather than the current one.
Upon the kit’s release, Chelsea wrote on social media ahead of their Premier League clash with Hull: “Built for those who dare to stand apart.
