RACHEL Scott made the most of her summer vacation before starting her big new job.
Good Morning America’s newest anchor, 33, traveled to Costa Brava, Spain with her husband Elliott Smith in the weeks before her big debut on ABC’s morning show.

“Chasing the final days of summer in Costa Brava,” she posted in late August.
In her photo dump, Rachel enjoyed sunset wine, feasted on paella and kayaked with Elliott.
“Love this so much for you,” GMA correspondent Rebecca Jarvis commented.
Colleague Deborah Roberts – who is married to Today weatherman Al Roker- dropped a heart-eyes emoji.

“A memorable weekend getaway,” Elliott wrote in the comments.
Rachel and Elliott, who married in September 2025 in Santa Barbara, are accustomed to luxury travel.
For their honeymoon last year, the jet-setting couple traveled to Maasai Mara, Kenya for a safari.
Rachel has been a political correspondent in Washington, DC for ABC News, but was just promoted to main anchor for GMA on Saturdays.

Starting September 12, she will co-host with Whit Johnson for a fresh new line-up.
On Sundays, Gio Benitez will co-host with Rhiannon Ally.
Meteorologist Leslie Lopez will cover weather on both days.
The shakeup comes after beloved weekend host Janai Norman was dropped by GMA in April.
“I’d hoped that we’d have more time. It’s been hard on me that our time was cut short. I have loved my job,” Janai said soon after the sad news broke.
“It has been a joy to connect with my coworkers and with viewers to help keep you informed and entertained and to create this community.
“So, it really breaks my heart that I don’t get to say goodbye. I’m so sorry that I don’t get to say goodbye. It would have been fun.”
