A MUM’S ‘treat’ boob job after years of breastfeeding left them ‘saggy’ turned to horror – when she caught sepsis and feared they’d ‘explode’.
Aimee Carr jetted off to Turkey on July 28 for a £3,000 breast uplift and implants after nine years of breastfeeding left her self-conscious about her ‘saggy’ 32E boobs.

The 29-year-old went under the knife on July 30 and woke up to “severe” pain in her breasts, but claims despite voicing concerns to doctors was sent back to her hotel the same day.
Aimee said she developed a temperature and a strange “bubble wrap’” crackling sensation beneath her skin the next day and contacted her surgeon.
The make-up artist claims she was reassured her symptoms were normal and she was fit to fly, but after returning home on August 5, Aimee rang 111 and was advised to go to A&E.
There, Aimee claims she temporarily went blind and collapsed from the infection, waking up in a ‘puddle’ of her own blood.

The mum-of-three says doctors told her she was suffering from life-threatening sepsis and that her organs had started to shut down.
Aimee was transferred to Wythenshawe Hospital in Wythenshawe, South Manchester, where she was given IV fluids and pain relief before being released a week later [August 12].
Horrifying photos show Aimee’s breast squirting blood through the surgical compression bra and pouring down her trouser leg.
Now with six leaking holes in her breasts, Aimee said she faces the possibility of having her implants removed if the infection doesn’t clear up.

Aimee, from Manchester, said: “I thought I was going to die. I had three labours without pain relief and they were not as painful as this, it was the worst pain I’ve ever felt in my life.
“I called 111 and I told them my surgeon said my symptoms were normal and they said they’re not normal and that I should have been in hospital.
“It felt like bubble wrap under my skin. You could hear the crackling, like popping candy.
“In the hospital, I said, ‘I’m going blind’. All I could see was flashing lights, the next minute my eyes rolled into the back of my head and I collapsed.
“I woke up and I was in a puddle of my own blood. I was really scared, I thought something really bad was going on.
“I was pouring blood. It was squirting out through my bra, it was dripping down to the floor. It was terrifying.”

Aimee had her first child when she was 19 and said her breasts changed dramatically during pregnancy and nine years of breastfeeding.
She went from having ‘no boobs whatsoever’ to a 32E during pregnancy, reaching a 32G at her largest while breastfeeding.
Desperate to achieve more fullness in her ‘saggy’ boobs, Aimee forked out £3,000 for the procedure, with the trip costing around £4,500 in total.
Aimee said: “This has a deep personal meaning to me, it wasn’t just about wanting better boobs.
“I breastfed for nine years without a break, so it was like a treat to myself.
“I used to have no boobs whatsoever until I had my daughter at 19. As soon as I was pregnant my boobs came out of nowhere.
“I wanted to feel more confident, everything that I wore felt disproportionate, they were saggy.”
Aimee claims she wasn’t properly warned about the potential surgery risks and felt the pre-op checks were rushed.
She claims she was handed paperwork on the day of the operation and told to sign it ‘quickly’ before the surgeon marked her up, a process lasting just ten minutes.
Aimee said: “They didn’t tell me about the risks. They gave me the paperwork on the day and I was reading through but was told I had to sign the pages quickly.
“The surgeon marked me up in 10 minutes and then I was put to sleep.
“[After the op] my sister came to see me and they said I wasn’t waking up properly.
“I was shaking, I couldn’t stand up and I was crying my eyes out. I was told I had a low pain threshold by my surgeon, but I knew something wasn’t right.”
Aimee claims that before coming home she was in a ‘conveyor belt’ of women having post-op checks, which consisted of cursory checks before being deemed fit to fly.
Aimee said: There were about 20 people in the waiting room, and everyone was going in, out, in, out. It was like a conveyor belt.
“My surgeon walked into the room with gloves on, wiped my wounds and said ‘here is your fit to fly’.
“I was in agony at the airport. I thought my boobs were going to explode, I felt water trickling down [them]. It felt like someone had a blow torch under my armpit.”
Since being discharged from hospital on August 12, Aimee is still taking antibiotics and having regular check-ups.
Aimee said: “I have to go to the hospital every few days to change the dressings and they have to check to see if there are any more holes.
“I was on antibiotics and I was taking really strong pain relief constantly. The doctor said the infection was actually sepsis and my organs were shutting down.
