An operation to extradite one of Gerry ‘The Monk’ Hutch’s sons is currently under way, with a government jet now in the process of bringing him back to Ireland from Spain.
Jason Hutch, aged 37, is being brought by the Government’s Dassault Falcon 6X aircraft from Arrecife Airport in Lanzarote this afternoon.
It is expected the aircraft will land in Baldonnell this evening.
He will then be handed over to gardaí.
It is then expected that he will be formally arrested before being taken to the Dublin District Court.
Jason Hutch has been in custody in Spain since last April following his detention on foot of a European arrest warrant.
