PRINCE Harry and Meghan are “happy to be back” despite a brewing row after Uganda quit the Invictus Games following a letter to the couple from King Charles.
The couple are said to be focused on settling in their new home and preparing Archie, 7, and Lilibet, 5, for school.
Sources close to the pair have said Uganda withdrew from the 2027 games after the bombshell letter reaffirmed their status as “private citizens”.
As the row over the games continues, the duke and duchess are said to be firmly focused on their children.
An insider told People: “Everything else will fall into place when the time is right.”
“There is a lot to do. They have just moved halfway across the world, and it’s been really busy getting the kids settled.”

“Their focus has been on that, and will remain on that, for the time being. They are happy to be back,” they said.
Another source said that the only ones suffering from Uganda’s withdrawal are the competitors who hoped to represent their country.
They added: “They made it very clear that the reason they pulled out was a direct result of perceived guidance from the Lord Chamberlain.
“This was an unintended or intended consequence of the letter — and that was always going to happen. Hence the wish not to rush it out.”

Harry & Meghan ‘blame King’s letter’ as Uganda withdraws from Invictus Games
General Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the head of Uganda’s armed forces and son of President Yoweri Museveni, announced the news on Wednesday – just two months after the nation became the 26th country to join.
He wrote on X: “In order not to be construed as being opposed to His Majesty King Charles III of the United Kingdom, whom we deeply revere, Uganda hereby withdraws from the Invictus Games.”
“We shall not participate in anything that does not have His Majesty’s approval,” he said.
In response, the Sussexes blamed Uganda’s decision to pull out of the games on Charles’ letter over their royal status revealed two days earlier.
Kainerugaba told The Times the nation had “withdrawn support” for the Invictus Games amid the ongoing royal row between Harry, Meghan and the Monarch.
He said: “I have factions in the Ministry of Defence that support that Harry-Meghan nonsense.
“I had to quash it straight away. I support the monarch. Period.”
Harry and Meghan said they were “surprised” by the King’s bombshell letter stating they are not working royals after their return to the UK.
In his statement, the King said that Harry, 41, and Meghan’s, 45, position in the UK is “akin to private citizens“, with the royal couple fearing it is linked to their ongoing security row.
