EASTENDERS fans have spotted a huge blunder at Max Branning’s wedding to Cindy Beale.

The gaffe happened during last night’s episode, after the opening scene “started” with an awkward delay.

Yesterday evening’s EastEnders picked up from the cliffhanger from the previous episode.

Tuesday night saw groom Max suffer a heart attack at the altar, on his wedding day to Cindy.

The Walford bad boy collapsed clutching his chest, just as he was about to confess his lies to his bride.

At the beginning of the night’s episode, just after the opening credits had rolled, the aftermath of Max having a heart attack was shown.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that rather than the characters springing into action to help a stricken Max, the cast looked like they were looking towards the EastEnders director.

They were seen standing still, before rushing to help the patriarch of the Branning household.

One viewer immediately posted the moment on X, and tweeted: “Did the episode start before the director said action?

“Surely that first shot wasn’t edited properly because why is everyone just stood there for the first few seconds?”
