WITH petrol prices now at a three-and-a-half year high, we have created an interactive tool to help you find the cheapest petrol stations in your area.

The average price of unleaded is now 166.2p a litre, the highest price since the fuel crisis in 2022, according to the AA.

It’s up by a huge 4.4p since the August bank holiday just over a week ago.

Diesel has soared to an average of 187.7p a litre.

That’s an increase of 4.1p since September 1.

The crisis has been driven by Iran’s grip on key shipping lanes in the Strait of Hormuz, sending global oil prices soaring as tankers struggle to move through the conflict zone.
