REFEREE Rob Jones has been caught bizarrely commentating Harvey Barnes’ goal against Bournemouth.
The official was the man with the whistle for the Premier League fixture at St James’ Park on September 5.
The Cherries surged into a two-goal lead in the first half through a strike from Marcus Tavernier and an own-goal from Malick Thaiw.
Despite trailling by two, the Magpies fought back and quickly got themselves on the scoreboard through Barnes.
The winger netted a fantastic goal as he cut in from the left-wing and curled in from the edge of the box into the top right corner.
The Premier League have since releaved the RefCam footage of the moment with Jones having a great view of the goal.

However, the audio has also been included and Jones can be heard commentating the moment as it happens in front of him.
He says: “He’ll fancy his chances like this. Out. In. Shot. Goal. Great goal.
“The on-field decision is goal.”
The video was shared on social media and left plenty of fans confused with the audio.
