MARKS and Spencer has brought back its “magical” 1.2kg Christmas tubs and shoppers have crowned them “better than Quality Street”.

Shoppers are raving about the festive treats and they’re already flying off the shelves.

M&S shoppers rejoice – The Big Mix chocolate tin has returned.

The viral product flew off the shelves last year after shoppers claimed it was “better than Quality Street” and now the sweet treat tin is back well in time for the festive period.

Steeped in 90s nostalgia, the tubs are packed with individually wrapped chocolate-covered toffees, caramels and creams – enough to satiate the tastes of the whole family.

The tubs are currently on sale in M&S stores and via Ocado, a 650g carton will set you back £7 at the posh nosh supermarket and the whopping 1.2kg tin scans in at £12.

While most Quality Street tins scan in around £5-7, the tubs only hold 550g of chocolates, meaning The Big Mix tin works out cheaper too.

Feast upon a selection of 10 chocolatey goodies including Salted Caramel, Coffee Truffle, Hazelnut in Caramel, Cream Toffee, Milk Creme, Caramel Fudge, Strawberry Creme, Orange Créme, Biscuit in Caramel and a Butterscotch Eclair.

In recent years, shoppers have been swapping to the M&S tin for their festive chocolate fix, following a series of changes to both Cadbury and Nestlé Christmas treats.

Shrinking tin sizes, changes to packaging and discontinued products, such as the Galaxy Truffle, have seen many customers dissatisfied by the former Christmas food staples.

Instead, chocolate lovers have been swapping to the retail giant’s own-brand alternative, feeling it’s more in line with classic festive chocolate boxes and describing the tin as “magical”.

Shoppers have flocked to social media to share the love for the festive treats, with one customer calling the tin the “best chocolate box for Christmas!”.

“These are our favourite chocolate box at Christmas time for sharing with the family – the chocolate is nice and thick and lovely fillings,” shared one chocolate-loving customer.

“Great selection, better than the leading brands of chocolates that come in plastic tubs and tins,” agreed another.

“My daughter picked [a tin] up for me last week (they ran out quickly last time)”, warned one shopper.
