But Nice and Lens have reportedly been ruled out of the running.

Neither were prepared to guarantee Martial a starting spot, instead both are hoping his experience could help their younger players.

Malaga have since emerged as another possible destination for the former United forward, according to Marca’s Matteo Moretto.

The Spanish side are considering adding Martial to their attack after being offered the chance to sign him.

Everton have also been given the chance to bring him back to the Premier League on a free.

Martial spent nine years at Old Trafford after joining from Monaco in 2015 and famously scored against Liverpool on his debut.

He went on to score 90 goals in 317 appearances for the Red Devils before leaving in 2024.

Martial peaked in the 2019/20 season when he became Ole Gunnar Solskjaer‘s talisman in attack.

And while spells at AEK Athens and Monterrey followed, neither stint really got his career going again.

Martial has not played a competitive match since March but can still join a new club as a free agent.
