A MAJOR retailer has slashed the price of dozens of Cadbury chocolates to just 97p.
The promotion has returned for another year, giving customers a chance to score a discount ahead of the festive period.
Sainsbury’s has slashed the price of a range of Cadbury chocolates to under £1 for Nectar card shoppers.
It gives chocoholics a chance to stock up on their favourite treats from the sweet maker before Christmas or Halloween.
As part of the offer, shoppers can pick up share bags of Buttons, Caramel Nibbles, Crunchie Rocks Chocolate Pouch for 97p down from £1.95.
A range of other treats including Cadbury Bitsa Wispa bags are also scanning for the low price, while its Fingers are scanning for 95p.

Sainsbury’s also ran the sale last year, with many branding it “great”.
But bear in mind, you will also need to be a Nectar card holder to get the discount.
The scheme, which is free to sign up for, lets customers earn points when they shop, which can be turned into money off vouchers.
It also gives shoppers access to discounted prices.

Morrisons is currently selling a five pack of Cadbury Time Out bars for 75p, beating Sainsbury’s current offer of a quid.
However, the UK’s second biggest supermarket appears to be the cheapest place at the moment to pick up a deal on Cadbury sharing pouches.
