There was severe public transport and traffic delays in Dublin city centre on Tuesday morning, after an incident at the bottom of Grafton Street.
Emergency services including Dublin Fire Brigade were tasked to the incident opposite Trinity College.
The Green Line Luas service experienced delays as a result, with services not operating between Dominick and St Stephen’s Green.
Luas are now informing passengers that all Green Line services have fully reopened.
They said passengers can expect delays for a couple of hours, and Luas tickets will be accepted on Dublin Bus for the continued disruption of the service.
Gardaí were contacted for more information.
Meanwhile, traffic delays in the wider commuter area were under further pressure after a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the M1 at the Mary McAleese Boyne Valley Bridge.
The collision, involving a tractor and a lorry, occurred shortly after 5am.
