The new U13 Girls season kicked off with an entertaining opening weekend across the Premier, Division 1 and Division 2 competitions
UNDER 13 GIRLS LEAGUE
Premier
In the Premier Division, Camp Juniors A made an impressive start with a 4-1 victory over MEK Galaxy A. Sophie Lynch began the campaign in superb fashion with a hat-trick, while Erin Wallace also found the net.
Division 1
There was plenty of action in the division, where LB Rovers defeated Fenit 3-1. Chloe Nagle Fennell, Maggie Dillane and Cianna Flahive scored for Rovers, with Emma Barrett-Neziri replying for Fenit.
Killarney Athletic also opened with three points following a narrow 1-0 win over Killorglin, with Hollie Shevlin scoring the decisive goal. Dingle and Castleisland shared the points in a 1-1 draw, with Katie Reidy on target for Castleisland.
Division 2
Listowel Celtic and Inter Kenmare also finished 1-1. Cora Griffin scored for Listowel, while Mila Riney Scannell found the net for Inter Kenmare.
UNDER 15 GIRLS LEAGUE
Premier
Mastergeeha made the perfect start with a 2-0 victory over Killarney Athletic. Laura Breen and Anabelle Casey were the goalscorers as Mastergeeha collected all three points.
Dingle also enjoyed an impressive opening, recording a convincing 4-0 win over Tralee Dynamos. Lucy Keane was the star of the show with an opening day hat-trick, while Temi Adornmu added the other goal.
Elsewhere, Killarney Celtic were awarded a 3-0 walkover victory against Castleisland.
Division 1
Fenit began their campaign with a 7-2 victory away to MEK. Hannah Barrett-Neziri produced a superb individual performance, scoring five of Fenit’s seven goals. Ella Clerkin-Sayers and Hannah Redican were also on target to complete a memorable opening day result.
