Prime Video has released first-look images at Boys Of Tommen, the TV series based on the book series by Chloe Walsh that became a sensation on BookTok.
The images feature actor Connor Sanchez as rugby player Johnny Kavanagh and actress Nancy Sturridge as main character Shannon Lynch.
The synopsis reads: “Boys Of Tommen follows the forbidden love story of Kavanagh, the star rugby player on the verge of a pro career, and Lynch, the talented but shy new girl at the prestigious private school of Tommen College in (fictional) Ballylaggin, Ireland.
“Both teenagers are hiding secrets; Johnny, a potentially career-ending injury, and Shannon, a troubled and violent homelife.
“Through their secret and highly charged connection, the pair from opposite worlds battle against the odds and find a way to save each other.”
Other actors cast in the series include James O’Donoghue as Joey Lynch, Sophie McGibbon as Aoife Molloy, Eoin Macken as Teddy Lynch and Amy Huberman as Edel Kavanagh.
The first season will be based on the first two books in the series, Binding 13 and Keeping 13.
The original novel was self-published in 2018 and became hugely popular around 2023 and 2024 when readers began sharing their reviews on social media.
There are currently six published books in the series with Walsh having plans for more.
Later books in the series focus on other characters who attend the school.
