TELLY legends Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly have left the National Television Awards empty handed for the first time in 25 years.
The duo lost out on a whopping four categories – Best Presenter, Best Reality Competition, Best Quiz Show and Best Talent Show.

Last year, Ant and Dec‘s 23-year streak for the Best Presenter award was broken after Gary Lineker scooped the title.
But, they managed to claw the loss back, by bagging an award with Britain’s Got Talent.
Now, they’ve not been as lucky and have suffered a huge blow as they were beaten by some huge names.
Sir David Attenborough, who turned 100 earlier this year, was crowned this year’s Best Presenter.

Despite hitting triple digits the broadcaster has shown no signs of slowing down – he’s already released three documentaries so far this year.
Ant and Dec‘s famous I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here lost out to BBC‘s The Celebrity Traitors in the Best Reality Competition category after the series skyrocketed onto the telly scene last year.
Their primetime ITV quiz show Ant & Dec’s Limitless Win didn’t fare any better as they were beaten by Lee Mack‘s The 1% Club.
As the presenters of Britain’s Got Talent, the pair were surely hoping the show would once again win them an award.

However, they sadly ended their NTAs award run empty handed after being beaten in the Best Talent Show category by Strictly Come Dancing.
Strictly’s latest win marks the show’s 11th consecutive win in the category.
Elsewhere during the show, Jeremy Clarkson won his second NTA for Clarkson’s Farm after beating out At Home With The Furys and Stacey & Joe in the Reality Docuseries category.
Last year Clarkson’s Farm won it’s first NTA for Best Factual Entertainment series.
For the seventh time Emmerdale bagged Best Serial Drama and soap star Jeff Hordley, who plays Cain Dingle brought home Best Serial Drama Performance for show too.
This Morning presenters were overjoyed when it was announced they’d won Best Daytime Award beating GMB and Loose Women.
This year’s special recognition award – decided by the judges – was revealed by Amanda Holden, Paloma Faith, Charlotte Church and David Olusoga as they serenaded the mystery star on stage.
Alan Carr fought back tears as he watched the performance, realising he was the one receiving the honour.
