Katie Taylor’s final fight, which saw the Bray boxer become three-time undisputed champion of the world, drew an audience peak of 1.6 million on RTÉ television on Saturday night.
The event also had over half a million streams (552,000) on RTÉ Player.
The programme had an average of 973,000 TV viewers, representing a 74% share of the available viewing audience.
Radio coverage was also provided by 2FM.

With the iconic backdrop of the home of the GAA, Taylor successfully defended her WBO, WBA, IBF and Ring Magazine titles and won the WBC super lightweight version in the historic clash against Flora Pili.
The coverage of Katie Taylor’s final fight was the latest sport offering on RTÉ platforms which featured extensive World Cup, GAA and European Athletics and European Swimming coverage.
The fight was broadcast around the world by DAZN, with the streaming service helping to facilitate free-to-air coverage by RTÉ.
