THE Great British Bake Off cast and the highly-anticipated launch date have finally been revealed as Nigella Lawson posed up next to her new co-stars.

There’s Clara, a marketing graduate who is obsessed with her pet pygmy hedgehog, NHS worker Connie who is known as “the Cake Lady”, and tech lover Danni, who brings her love of video games to her baking.

The “Daddy of Birmingham drag” Gabe has been a Bake Off fan since they were 13, while pensioner Gary didn’t discover his passion for baking until later in life.

Charity worker Molly’s cakes are inspired by her grandma, while student Moyin started baking aged five and law graduate Mo began at the even younger age of three.

Ad executive Nikki uses baking as therapy, Shannon is a nature-loving foodie and Tom describes himself as a “northern diva”.

Finally, doctor Yannis hopes to challenge the stigma that Bangladeshi men don’t belong in the kitchen.

First look at Nigella Lawson with new Great British Bake Off co-stars

They’ll all be vying to catch new judge Nigella Lawson’s eye as she becomes Paul Hollywood’s sidekick in the famous tent.

Ahead of the show’s return, the pair posed for a snap with hosts Alison Hammond and Noel Fielding.

TV cook Nigella, 66, put on a sensational display in a navy blue jumpsuit as she cosied up to her new co-stars.

Long-standing judge, Paul, and presenters Alison and Noel beamed alongside Nigella amid claims of tensions rising between the two judges.

Nigella was revealed to be replacing former judge Prue Leith back in January.

She was tipped as her successor in 2024 when Prue, now 86, cut her workload by ducking the celebrity series.

A source said: “Nigella’s recognised worldwide.

“She’s got the cheeky banter down to a tee, with all her work laden with the fun innuendos and naughty patter that are synonymous with Bake Off.

“Prue has been wonderful but Nigella will be a sure-fire hit.”

The Great British Bake Off is back on September 22 on Channel 4 at 8pm.
