ENGLAND have plenty of players plying their trade outside of the Premier League these days and for some monstrous clubs.
If you don’t specifically go looking for how, say, Harry Kane is getting on, you might not know that he hasn’t scored for Bayern this season yet.

But there are a few that fly under the radar for less decorated clubs, too. It’s not until you’re having an after party at 4am and someone wonders “What ever happened to that guy?!”
Well, we’re here to tell you. Here is a recap of how many of the English exports are getting on around Europe and even further afield.
La Liga
It was a frustrating night for Jude Bellingham and Trent-Alexander Arnold as Real Madrid lost 1-0 to Real Betis.
Jude has been red-hot to start the season and Trent had looked back to his best, but the latter was dropped for Denzel Dumfries in this fixture.

The former Liverpool man did come on around the hour mark, but could not change the outcome. Who scored the winner for Betis you ask? Former Spurs starlet and Republic of Ireland international Troy Parrott.
Anthony Gordon started for Barcelona in their 5-0 win over Valencia, picking up an assist along the way.
Harvey Elliott came off the bench for Valencia after 53 minutes. As you can tell, it made no difference to the outcome.
Finally, Tyrhys Dolan played the full 90 minutes on the left wing for Espanyol in their 1-1 draw with Sevilla.

The 24-year-old was born in Manchester and spent time with both City and United as an academy player.
He made 211 appearances for Blackburn before moving to Spain in 2025.
Serie A
There is a host of English stars in Italy these days so I’ll try to be succinct! Let’s start with Milan.
Inter brought Curtis Jones off the bench, but John Stones caught splinters for a full 90 while Djed Spence wasn’t even in the squad for their 3-2 win over Napoli. Billy Gilmour came off the bench for the Naples giants.
With AC, Ruben Loftus-Cheek continues to prove to be a favourite of Ruben Amorim‘s since the former Manchester United boss took over. He came off the bench in their 1-1 draw with Juventus, but Fikayo Tomori and Omari Hutchinson did not. Lloyd Kelly also spent 90 on the bench for Juve.
Jay Robinson, playing for Monza on-loan from Southampton, scored his team’s only goal in the 1-1 draw with Parma. Former Manchester United starlet Omari Forson also started the game.

Como smashed Genoa 4-1 with Trevoh Chalobah playing 90 minutes at the heart of the victor’s defence.
Finally, Keinan Davies is expected to feature for Udinese tonight when they take on Lazio. The 28-year-old striker has played for Aston Villa as well as loan spells with Nottingham Forest and Watford.
Former England midfielder Harry Winks is in contention to play for Cagliari tonight, too.
Ligue 1
Monaco lost 2-1 to PSG with Eric Dier at centre-back. Marseille’s woes continued as they lost 3-2 to the capital’s smaller outfit Paris FC. Both CJ Egan-Riley and Angel Gomes were a part of the loss.
Chelsea affiliated Strasbourg won 6-2 against Troyes with Englishman Samuel Amo-Ameyaw grabbing a brace. The 20-year-old broke through at Southampton before moving to France last season, initally on-loan.
Former Aston Villa and Southampton man Cameron Archer did score for Auxerre (remember them?! Philippe Mexes, Boumsong and the gang?!), but he could not prevent them falling 3-1 to Lyon who had former Liverpool man Tyler Morton in their midfield.
Bundesliga
Jobe Bellingham had more luck than his brother this weekend playing 90 minutes in Dortmund’s last-gasp 3-2 win over Hoffenheim. Ethan Nwaneri also made his debut for the German giants after arriving on-loan from Arsenal and he came off the bench to force the own goal that would turn out to be the winner.
Jarell Quansah played 90 minutes at right back for Bayer Leverkusen in a 4-0 win after being linked with a move to Arsenal this summer. He got an assist in the win over Union Berlin.

Harry Kane is on something of a goal drought at this point. No goals from his first two games of the season, but he was only brought on at half-time in Bayern’s 0-0 draw with Schalke at the weekend.
Koln are a very interesting team to look out for this season if you are of the English persuasion. They lost 4-1 to Stuttgart, but on-loan Man City defender Jamahl Simpson-Pusey started the game while fellow loanee, Spurs starlet Mikey Moore and former City star Reigan Heskey – son of Premier League legend Emile – both came off the bench.
Elsewhere
Mason Greenwood‘s hot start to the season cooled down when Fenerbache lost 2-1 to Genclerbirligi. The former Man United hope was brought on in the 51st minute but could not turn the tide.
Adrian Blake, the only Englishman in the Dutch top-flight, came on for Utrecht while they were losing 3-1 to Go Ahead Eagles, but the game was ultimately abandoned after fan protests caused the referee to suspend the contest.

Corinthians lost 2-1 to Chapecoense on Sunday and despite being brought on after 66 minutes, Jesse Lingard could not spark a comeback.
Ivan Toney scored a brace of penalties in Al-Ahli’s 5-1 win over Al-Riyadh while Ollie Watkins played but did not score in a 2-0 win for Al-Hilal.
