PISA star Rosen Bozhinov was rushed to hospital after collapsing on the pitch during a Serie B clash with Juve Stabia.
The worrying incident happened around the 40th minute of Sunday’s game at the Stadio Romeo Menti in Castellammare di Stabia.
Bozhinov, 21, suddenly went down while play was stopped and required immediate medical attention.
Players from both sides gathered around the Bulgarian defender as medics raced onto the field.
