THIS is the shocking moment a car bursts into flames on the North Circular with plumes of black smoke fill the air.
Footage posted online shows the vehicle completely engulfed in flames at the side of the carriageway on the A406, a main route which goes around North London.

The accident happened in Ilford, east London on September 2, shortly before 8pm.
As yet, it is unclear what caused the fire.
Driving on the other side of the North Circular from the burning vehicle, a mum-of-two, from Edmonton, north London, said she could feel the heat from the flames.
She said: “We were coming home from the Southend after a visit to a theme park.

“We saw two people running down the road away from the car.
“There was so much traffic the police and ambulances were struggling to get to the burning car.
“We could feel the heat from the other side of the road.
“We thought it was all going to blow.”

The blaze caused one lane to be closed while a tailback was caused as drivers slowed down and change lanes.
The London Fire Brigade sent out two fire engines to deal with the incident having received 39 calls about it.
Fire crews from Ilford and Stratford had the fire under control just after 8.35pm.
One person online said: “Someone’s having a proper s**t day.”
Another wrote: “Omgggg so bad.”
While a third added: “That’s one burnt car.”
The A406, known officially as the North Circular Road is a 26-mile semi-circular ring road spanning suburban north London from Chiswick in the west to North Woolwich in the east.
A London Fire Brigade spokesperson said: “Firefighters responded to a car fire on the A406 in Ilford.
“A single petrol car was destroyed by the fire, and there are no reports of any injuries.
“The Brigade received the first of 39 calls reporting the fire at 19.51.
“Two fire engines were sent to the scene from Ilford and Stratford fire stations.
