AN interior designer has revealed her most important tip for homeowners to completely transform the vibe of their spaces.
Laurin White said it just takes a few bucks and 20 seconds after work to turn an “interrogation room” into a cozy oasis.

In a conversation with The U.S. Sun, White said the temperature of light bulbs is the “number one thing” she urges property owners to consider.
White admitted it “sounds crazy” but gave a breakdown of how the Kelvin light scale will determine whether a room feels like a dentist’s office or an actual liveable space.
“You may use a fluorescent light for something like a doctor’s office, but that is not the temperature […] that you want your house,” she said.
“I suggest everyone seek to use 2700 Kelvin, 3000 Kelvin, but no brighter than that.

“It will change the whole feel of your house. You’ll feel like you’re in an interrogation cell if you go to 4,000, 5,000.”
White said cheap, warm-toned lightbulbs can be purchased for just a few bucks at stores like Walmart, Home Depot, and Lowe’s.
“You don’t want to do the bright light or the bright daylight, and you just have to make sure to read the right label,” she explained.
“You can source those on Amazon. I obviously will suggest your local hardware store to support local. You can get them at any price point.”
