A WOMAN has allegedly been sexually assaulted on a busy tube train, as police release CCTV.
The reported incident is said to have happened on a District Line train at Barking railway station, London, on Sunday, August 2.
A woman was standing on the train when she was sexually assaulted by a man as he got off the carriage, police said.
An investigation into the alleged incident has been launched with police releasing CCTV images of a man.
British Transport Police officers believe the man in the images could have information that may assist their enquiries.
The force said: “Anyone who recognises him is asked to text BTP on 61016, or call 0800 40 50 40, using the reference 98 of 2 August.
