A man has died after being allegedly assaulted by a neighbour during a noise dispute at a unit block in Sydney’s north-west.
Police have charged a 30-year-old man with murder after the alleged assault at Lister Avenue, Ermington about 1am on Friday.
Police say a dispute over noise coming from a 41-year-old’s unit sparked the alleged attack.
It’s alleged the older man was allegedly punched the face several times, before he fell down a flight of stairs. The younger man allegedly continued the assault after he fell.

Police performed CPR on the 41-year-old before he was taken to hospital, but he died on arrival.
A 30-year-old man was due to face Burwood Local Court on Friday.
