Tickets for next year’s edition of the music festival went on general sale at 10am on Friday morning
Electric Picnic 2027 has officially sold out within an hour of tickets going on sale.
Tickets for next year’s edition of the music festival went on general sale at 10am on Friday morning on Ticketmaster, just a few days after the 2026 edition finished in Stradbally, Co Laois.
Festival organisers have now confirmed the festival next year has “completely sold out”.
In a post on Instagram, a spokesperson said: “We’re blown away. Electric Picnic 2027 is completely sold out.”
“If you managed to snag one of those a golden tickets, we’ll see you back down in Stradbally next August.
“We can’t wait to do it all over again with you,” a spokesperson added.
Electric Picnic 2027 will last from Friday, August 27, until Sunday, August 29, 2027, in Stradbally.
It comes after the first batch of tickets for the festival sold out within hours of going on sale on Wednesday.
Partner presales for eligible Bank of Ireland and Three+ customers opened at 10am on Wednesday morning.
Friday’s sale included loyalty tickets for returning festivalgoers and general sale tickets.
Meanwhile, EP boss Melvin Benn confirmed ticket prices and capacity for next year’s festival will remain unchanged.
General admission weekend camping tickets are priced at €325.50, while loyalty tickets are priced at €295.50 for those who have attended one or two previous festivals, and €245.50 for those who have been to three or more.
