Electric Picnic 2027 has sold out after tickets for next year’s festival went on sale on Friday morning.
Organisers confirmed that tickets, which went on sale at 10am through the festival’s loyalty scheme and general sale, have now been snapped up.
No acts have yet been announced for the 2027 festival, which will take place at Stradbally Hall in Co Laois from Friday 27 to Sunday 29 August.
The sell-out comes less than a week after 80,000 people attended this year’s Electric Picnic.
Lewis Capaldi, Gorillaz and Fontaines D.C. were among the Main Stage headliners, with CMAT, Zara Larsson, Amble, sombr, Van Morrison, Wolf Alice, The Mary Wallopers, The Saw Doctors and JADE also appearing across the weekend.

More than 800 performances took place across 50 stages at the festival.
Festival director Melvin Benn said earlier this week that there would be no increase in either ticket prices or capacity for Electric Picnic in 2027, with capacity remaining at 80,000.
It is the second year in a row that tickets for the following year’s festival have been snapped up soon after going on sale. Electric Picnic 2026 sold out within minutes when tickets were released last September.
Several artists who appeared in Stradbally last weekend have since announced major Irish shows for 2027.
Fontaines D.C., who closed the festival on Sunday night, will play two nights at Slane Castle next June, while sombr has announced shows at Malahide Castle and Belsonic and Lola Young will play Dublin’s Fairview Park.
