ROCK star Alanis Morissette is suing her ex-tour manager for allegedly trying to blackmail the singer into admitting drug smuggling.
The Ironic singer has claimed Keren Urinov threatened to report her to British cops unless she agreed to keep him employed for 15 years and offer “massive compensation”.
She is suing for civil extortion, fraud and negligent misrepresentation, refusing to be “coercised into delivering her blackmailer a extraordinary payday”.
In the suit, it claims Urinov was detained at a UK airport while travelling with Morissette and her team for a concert in Spain.
During questioning, he allegedly told border officers a bag containing marijuana and xylazine, known as “tranq dope”, belonged to her.
She showed officers an Israeli medical marijuana license and was released, the lawsuit claims.

“Plaintiff Alanis Morissette is the victim of a calculated blackmail campaign orchestrated by a disgruntled former tour manager,” the new lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles federal court, reads.
“Morissette will not agree to work with an incompetent blackmailer for the next 15 years or pay her a ransom under the gun.”

In the HBO film, titled Jagged, Morissette claimed multiple men had sex with her when she was a 15-year-old Canadian pop star, according to the Washington Post.
“It took me years in therapy to even admit there had been any kind of victimization on my part,” Morissette said.
