Westlife have been confirmed as the headline performers for Katie Taylor’s farewell fight at Croke Park this Saturday.

The London 2012 Olympic gold medal winner takes on France’s undefeated Flora Pili in front of 80,000 fans in Dublin.
Westlife said they are “so honoured to be asked by Katie to perform” on what they described as a historic night.
“She has inspired the whole country and we couldn’t be prouder to perform for her at Croke Park, a stadium that also means so much to us.”
Westlife have sold out the home of the Gaelic Athletic Association six times over their career.
With more than 55 million records sold worldwide, more than 6 million concert tickets, and several UK and Irish No 1 singles – including hits such as Flying Without Wings, Queen of My Heart, and You Raise Me Up – Westlife are one of Ireland’s biggest-selling acts.

Saturday night’s performance comes just days before their worldwide 25th anniversary tour kicks off with a 13-night residency at Dublin’s 3Arena next week.
Their anniversary tour will see them take the international stage, with more than 150 live shows booked across multiple continents.
Further entertainment for Saturday’s event will be announced later this week.
The fight will be shown live worldwide on DAZN and in Ireland on RTÉ 2.
