Three people have died and several more are injured after a shooting in the northern US city of Minneapolis, according to local police.
Three police officers are among those injured.
Minneapolis Police spokesperson Garrett Parten said that the suspect was among the dead, adding that it wasn’t clear how he had died.
During a press conference, Mr Parten said that one person died at the scene and four people were taken to hospital, where one later died.
A hospital spokesperson said that two of the three injured police officers had been shot. Both are expected to survive and are in a “stable condition”.

There was no mention of motive during the press conference.
Governor Tim Walz asked the public to “pray for Minnesota” while FBI Director Kash Patel said his agents were responding.
