TYSON FURY has slammed Anthony Joshua for not wanting to fight him and threatened to walk away from the deal after Eddie Hearn told him to “keep begging.”
In a war of words between the two sides, the Gypsy King has now cast doubt over the long-awaited Battle of Britain showdown even taking place.

With no agreement on where the potential bout takes place and tension around a location, he told The Telegraph: “It’s 50-50 that it happens.
“I’ll fight him anywhere. If it happens, fantastic. If it doesn’t, fantastic.
“The trouble is we both have hundreds of millions. I think he has never wanted the fight.
“I was optimistic at the beginning of March of this year and I had that fight at Tottenham with Arslanbek Makhmudov and Joshua was ringside.

“He was there for a job. It’s a lot of messing around. There’s a lot of politics involved, people’s egos, promoters’ egos.
“I don’t get involved in it. Prizefighters fight anybody. I never have believed AJ ever fancied it.
“I don’t know why it is not happening right now. I believe they’re looking at a date of November 20, a Friday, at Madison Square Garden. So we’ll see.
“We’ll see whose ego gets in the way here. I believe it’s Eddie Hearn’s ego.

“Egos shouldn’t get in the way. But unfortunately they do.
“At the end of the day, this is me talking complete sense from a sober mind and from an expert opinion.
“Here’s the facts at this fight. Ok, Joshua has hundreds of millions. I have hundreds of millions. We don’t need to fight.”
Earlier this week Hearn tore into Fury and those being critical of no final confirmation of a date or time being set.
He said: “Listen, you can’t win every way.
“I got a small amount of people probably ten per cent of people going ‘what does it matter where the fight is? Just sign the fight.’
“Then I have 70 or 80 people and my dad [Barry] saying ‘f*** them’, my dad lives and breathes and dies on contracts.
“He would never look to change a contract, once it is signed it is done and there is no changes.
“My dad would be saying: ‘tell Tyson Fury to go f*** himself.’
“This is the second time we have signed to fight Tyson Fury and once again he is moving the goalposts.

“Lies, hyperbole on Instagram all of this stuff and we see right through it now, in fact we laugh because he is begging.
“I am looking at Tyson Fury going ‘keep begging’.”
That comes after Fury revealed he was getting bored of the saga via a video online.
He said: “There is still no deal done, and it’s getting quite tiring.
“I’ve been down to fight in every location that’s been mentioned; England, Ireland, Vegas, New York, back to England, back to Ireland, back to New York.
“I’ve said yes every time with zero stipulations. The facts are, I feel like you’re being a coward.”
And after all of the chat, if it doesn’t happen he isn’t bothered about his legacy.
He explained: “The legacy is your children. Legacy is not a boxing match. You win some, you lose some.
“I know a thousand boxers who have been world champions, great champions, undisputed champions.
“What are they afterwards? Just bare bums in the shower. When you finish boxing, you’re a has-been, a boxer like every other has-been sportsperson on Earth.
“My legacy is looking at my seven children’s faces every day smiling. When they’re happy, I’m happy.

“Legacy in boxing doesn’t mean s*** to me. And I mean that. I don’t care if this fight happens or it doesn’t.
“It’s not the be all and end all. I’m not going to lose any sleep about it. If it doesn’t happen in November, I’ll fight somebody else and then you move on from there.”
