BBC star Sangita Myska has revealed she was forced to call the police after a cruel stranger kicked her new puppy in the street.
The former BBC Radio 4 star was left in shock after a woman “deliberately” attacked her pet dog named Rhubarb while out for a walk.
The presenter and podcaster said she would be reporting the incident to the police to stop her from doing it again to anyone else.
Sangita shared a photo of the sweet pooch and wrote: “I’m in shock. And very upset. A woman walking in a stride (not v fast) deliberately walked into my 14 week old puppy, kicking her in the head.
“Rhubarb and I had been stationary for approx 2-3 minutes.
“Two people had walked past us with no issue. We were stationary on one side of a double width pavement.

“The woman saw Rhubarb and stepped onto her. There was no apology. No explanation.”
Sangita was horrified by the “abuse” and said she would be taking her dog to the vet to get checked.
“I shouted after her and she admitted it was deliberate replying ‘move into the road’ I have never felt such rage course through my veins,” she continued.
“I froze, using every atom of self control I could muster not to run after her. I’m about to report the woman to the Met Police because if she abuses a tiny puppy, she undoubtedly abuses the people in her pathetic life.

Her followers were left stunned by the incident and raced to comment.
One wrote: “What is happening in our country?! I’m so sorry for little Rhubarb and you. Hope you both heal and know for everyone of these disgusting people there are hundreds, thousands of people who have kindness, compassion and wanting to help as their core values & sensibilities.”
A second posted: “I was thinking the same thing Gina. When, why, how did it go so wrong. Even if one hates puppies or one is in one’s way just say “please move your puppy/dog”. That’s it. Basic civility. Don’t intentionally harm a tiny creature.”
