ROSEMONT, Ill. — Trimlite, a value-added distributor of residential doors and door products and a portfolio company of Wynnchurch Capital, L.P. (“Wynnchurch”), today announced the acquisition of KW Building Products, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Clay-Ingels, LLC (“KW”), a wholesale distributor of residential doors, windows, and related building products serving customers across the Mid-South and Central United States.

Founded in 1988 and headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, KW serves independent and national pro dealers through locations in Lexington and Indianapolis. KY distributes interior and exterior doors, windows, moldings, jambs, casings and related building products and provides door-hanging and other value-added services.
