AT least two people have been injured after an explosion at a train station in Germany.
Windows were shattered into pieces following the terrifying blast in Augsburg which sparked an urgent response from bomb squads.
Local police are currently investigating the explosion as its cause is currently unclear.
Emergency services first received reports of the unidentified object detonating at 3.15am this morning.
The train station was partially shut down as authorities probed the circumstances of the blast.
Cops told Bild that the injured victims include a 17-year-old girl and an 18-year-old man.
They are understood to have suffered minor injuries.
The explosion also shattered window panes in front of shocked commuters.
Bomb disposal squads are currently on site, authorities confirmed.
The ordeal has sparked travel chaos as several services have been suspended and nearby roads are closed.
