A hiker in Canada got the scare of a lifetime while out in nature.
There’s a lot of beauty in nature, and you often get to see some truly majestic things. For example, a monster albino buck was recently captured on video in Wisconsin.
It was one of the coolest wildlife videos the internet has seen in a long time. However, it’s not all sunshine and roses.
Enter a truly insane scene out of Canada.
Keith Kerr was in Kootenay National Park in British Columbia when he encountered something nobody wants to see:
An adult female grizzly bear who seemingly believed her two cubs were threatened.
That’s what happened when Kerr stumbled upon the three grizzly bears, and the adult female wasn’t pleased to see him.
“I heard the gnarliest sound I have ever heard in my life. A low gurgling growl…Mama bear comes around, and she’s in my spot before I get there. She is so fast, and at this moment, I literally think this is going to be it for me,” Kerr explained in a recent interview with CTV News.
The female adult grizzly bear produced to bluff charge the man four different times, but fortunately, never launched an all-out attack.
You can watch footage of the stunning incident and hear Kerr’s breakdown in the video below.
People in the comments on YouTube were quick to offer plenty of reactions spanning a large spectrum.
One viewer wrote, “If a bear is coming at me, the last thing on my mind is taking pictures.”
I 100% agree!
Another joked, “A real journalist would have reached out to the bear to get their side of the story.”
Above all else, this situation is a reminder to always keep your head on a swivel while in nature. You never know what might be lurking around the corner. Let me know your thoughts at [email protected].
