A hiker is missing at Mount Remarkable National Park in South Australia.

The woman failed to return from a hike yesterday, prompting a late-night search by PolAir and local crews.

A renewed search is commencing this morning, with police patrols, Mounted Operations and SES volunteers.

The popular hiking spot in South Australia’s Mid North region is about 250 to 290 kilometres north of Adelaide.
