Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) have finally crossed paths in Emmerdale.
Sadie returned to the village shortly after Jimmy King’s (Nick Miles) death. She claimed that she was back to pay her respects, but the likes of Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) knew that Sadie was probably hiding something.
She was – and what a shocker it turned out to be. Sadie told Nicola that she had secretly been in a relationship with Jimmy for three years, and even showed her pictures of them together as proof.
But was it proof? Or just part of her plan?

Viewers discovered that it was in fact the latter, as the pictures of Sadie and Jimmy together were fake.
Sadie is now busy working with Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) to locate a large amount of cash that Jimmy has hidden. As their plan continued in today’s episode of the ITV soap, Sadie managed to spot Cain across the road.

How do Cain and Sadie know each other in Emmerdale?
Cain and Sadie first crossed paths over two decades ago, when Sadie was married to Jimmy.
Desperate to stop Charity from marrying father-in-law Tom King, Sadie paid Cain to help expose Charity’s secrets, which ultimately destroyed the wedding.
After working together, things developed between Cain and Sadie, leading to an affair.
Cain and Sadie’s relationship fell apart when they tried to fake Sadie’s kidnap in order to get money from the King family. Instead of leaving together, Cain stole Sadie’s £2 million, departed the village, and left Sadie with nothing.
Discussing why Sadie is back in the village, star Patsy Kensit previously told us:
‘She’s a desperate woman. She’s come back for a big reason, and she won’t stop at anything. It’s interesting to see how far she’ll go. And we know Sadie. If she’s got her mind set on something, she’s going to try her hardest.’
