A firearms officer who called his Met colleagues ‘wastemen’ and ‘b****holes’ on his own podcast has been sacked.
PC Idominik Efeotor, was sacked from the Parliamentary & Diplomatic Protection Command guarding the House of Commons, at a misconduct hearing on Monday.
Through his The Good, The Bad, The Ugly Podcast, he criticised the force – which he has served for 15 years – calling his fellow officers ‘corrupt’ and ‘liars’.
He was once a posterboy for the Met and used in promotional material before he accused his colleagues of racism.
In one podcast he accused colleagues of telling him ‘If I turned the lights off would I still see you? Why are you talking?’

In a TikTok, responding to a viewers question, he says: ‘First of all I have never called a DPS (Directorate of Professional Standards) officer a wasteman. They are b****holes.’
In another he hit out at a senior officer’s criticism of two officers not wearing body armour and hats on duty. ‘Not every day do we need to critique something. If someone is giving plaudits to the Metropolitan Police, a service that very rarely gets them because they have a bunch of ‘b*** holes inside. If these two man are representing the way they should – shut up rude boy!’
On his dismissal, a Met spokesman said: ‘His posts included offensive, insulting and derogatory language towards other officers, staff and individuals, as well as discussing sensitive information relating to misconduct proceedings.
‘He also published material which could have led to the identification of an officer who was the subject of an anonymity direction.’
The force said PC Efeotor had disclosed his podcast as a business interest, but they later withdrew permission. Despite this, he continued to publish episodes describing his life as an officer.
He was dismissed without notice on Monday.
Commander Adam Slonecki, head of Specialist Operations, said: ‘Our officers can be in no doubt as to how they are expected to act on social media, and it is clear that PC Efeotor breached these standards on many occasions and despite repeated warnings.
‘Not only does behaviour like this undermine public confidence in the Met, but it had a harmful and lasting impact on those he openly criticised, as well as the rest of his colleagues.
‘There is no place in policing for anyone whose values are so far removed from what we would expect, and it is right he has been dismissed from the organisation.’
PC Efeotor will now be placed on the College of Policing Barred List, preventing him from working in policing in the future.
A fundraiser to help Efeotor secure specialist legal representation had raised more than half of its £7,000 target, according to Blackcurrent News.
