Is Sadie King (Patsy Kensit) telling the truth about the secret life she lived with Jimmy King (Nick Miles) in Emmerdale? It’s a question everyone has been asking – and we might have the answer now.

Sadie returned earlier this week following Jimmy’s death. To Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) shock, the iconic face revealed she was back to pay her respects.

The likes of Nicola, Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) all sensed that Sadie was hiding something, and it was quickly confirmed that she was.

She dropped the massive bombshell that she had been in a relationship with Jimmy for three years. Because this is Sadie, everyone assumed that she was lying and spinning the story just for fun.

Her statement was seemingly proved true yesterday though, when Sadie reeled off a bunch of information about Elliot, Angelica and Carl that only Jimmy would’ve told her.

As it dawned on Nicola that her husband had spent a very long time lying to her, it seemed she was willing to listen more to Sadie’s points in today’s episode. After all, they share similarities having both been in relationships with Jimmy.

Sadie wanted to help with the funeral plans, and Nicola found herself agreeing to the idea.

Later, Kev Barton (Chris Coghill) asked Nicola for some help in the cafe.

As they chatted outside, they engaged in what I would definitely call some sort of flirtatious banter. Things are a bit weird between Nicola and Kev right now after Nicola planted a drunken kiss on him.

Did the vibe during this chat confirm that something is brewing between them? Judging by the look on Sadie’s face as she witnessed the chat, she definitely seems to think so.

With Kev on his way to Dale View and Nicola heading to the cafe, it gave Sadie the opportunity to break into the King household.

Nicola caught her snooping a while later, but we didn’t actually discover what Sadie was looking for.

Could she be searching for more information on Jimmy’s life to fuel her lie?
