Brooklyn Beckham couldn’t keep his hands off wife Nicola Peltz after they touched down in Venice for a special celebration.
The budding chef, 27, and American actress, 31, are in Italy for the annual Film Festival, where Nicola will receive a rising star award.
Nicola is set to be honoured at the Kinéo Awards, despite a career already spanning 20 years since she began acting and made her debut in Deck the Halls (2006).
Ever the supportive husband, Brooklyn was seen getting handsy with his other half ahead of her big moment.
The couple, who married in 2022, took in the nighttime Venice sights, with Brooklyn wearing a casual white tee and khaki shorts combo and Nicola looking chic in skinny jeans and a black cami top.
With a glass of wine in one hand, former photographer Brooklyn took the opportunity to cheekily grab Nicola’s bum with the other as he nuzzled into her neck.
The loved-up pair will attend the 25th Kinéo Awards on Saturday, which take place at Casa Cinema Giovani and were launched in 2002 by Kinéo Cultural Association president Rosetta Sannelli.
Nicola has been plucked for the rising star honour thanks to her acting, producing, and filmmaking, while Oscar winner Faye Dunaway will receive a lifetime achievement trophy for her decades-long career, which began on Broadway in the 1960s.
The awards note that Nicola has, in recent years, ‘attracted growing international attention through increasingly multifaceted roles, both in front of and behind the camera’.
Nicola’s CV includes her directorial debut, Lola (2024), in which she also starred, plus roles in The Last Airbender (2010), Transformers: Age of Extinction (2014), and Back Roads (2018).
TV-wise, she’s appeared in Bates Motel, Inhumans, and Welcome to Chippendales.
Most recently, she’s been working on independent feature Prima, in which 85-year-old Faye also stars. Nicola has been filming the self-funded project since January, but a release date is yet to be announced.
In the movie, she plays ‘a dedicated ballerina facing a disruptive power struggle within her company’, a role that has already generated discussion online.
After fans noticed a change in her appearance, they expressed concern that she had lost too much weight so she could portray the dancer named Margo.
Pre-filming involved four months of ballet training, as well as a strict diet and fitness regimen.
A source previously said Nicola was ‘determined’ and ‘dedicated’ to the job and wanted to get things ‘exactly right’.
They added to The Sun: ‘It is a huge opportunity for her in Hollywood, and so she has pulled out all the stops.’
Despite the explanation, social media users began fearing for the screen star, prompting husband Brooklyn to chime in.
After he shared a cooking video on Instagram, one follower reportedly called for him to ‘feed’ Nicola, to which he hit back in her defence.
He is believed to have replied: ‘Don’t ever talk about my wife. She’s absolutely beautiful and you should never comment on a woman’s body. It’s disgraceful.’
Of course, this is far from the first time Brooklyn has publicly backed his wife, as they’ve been glued to one another’s side since he set the cat among the pigeons with a bombshell statement at the start of the year.
In it, he accused his parents, David Beckham and Victoria Beckham, of trying to ‘ruin’ his relationship, said they had ‘controlled’ him from an early age and gave him ‘anxiety’.
Since cutting ties with his parents and moving to the States permanently to live with Nicola and her family, he has found ‘peace’, he said.
‘My wife and I do not want a life shaped by image, press, or manipulation. All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for us and our future family,’ added the hot sauce brand founder.
In the months since, the feud has only deepened between the eldest Beckham boy and his mum and dad, as Brooklyn, who is decorated with tattoos, has removed and covered his family inkings.
And last month, Brooklyn made another public dig as they marked the anniversary of renewing their wedding vows, a ceremony the Beckhams were not invited to.
He declared that he loves Nicola ‘more than life itself’, adding: ‘I am so lucky to be able to call you my wife xx You are my absolute princess and I promise to always protect you xx’.
