A face from the past re-emerges, someone suffers in silence and a troubled teen’s behaviour gets darker next week in Coronation Street.

Driven further in her insidious behaviour, a rejection from Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) only fuels Jodie Ramsey’s (Olivia Frances-Brown) insidious behaviour, and when she learns a shocking truth, she relishes toying with a new victim.

As her dad returns, desperate to reunite with Shona Platt (Julia Goulding), will he be the one to finally expose his daughter’s true, dark colours?

Bethany Platt (Lucy Fallon) is one of the very few people to realise what Jodie’s truly like, but when she finds herself the target of Jodie’s wicked game, could her relationship with her mum, Sarah Platt (Tina O’Brien), be destroyed for good?

The catalyst for Jodie’s turn, Kit, is facing his own turmoil, as a shocking decision throws him even further off-kilter as he comes to terms with his terrifying new reality. Could his unlikely new ally, Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce), help him as he navigates the scary road ahead?

Deeply disturbed teenager, Lucy Parkinson’s (Anya Dewin) behaviour continues to unnerve Tim and Sally Metcalfe (Joe Duttine and Sally Dynevor), but when she starts to put other people in danger, will they decide that Lucy’s simply too much for them to handle?

Elsewhere, Carla Connor-Swain (Alison King) attempts to help Betsy Swain (Sydney Martin) look to the future and David Platt’s (Jack P Shepherd) return brings worry to Shona.

Monday, September 7

Moments after someone tip-toes from Kit’s bedroom, he awakens to see a photo of himself and Sarah, eyeing it guiltily, before heading to the Rover’s for Debbie Webster’s (Sue Devaney) birthday party.

As he knocks back the drinks, Bernie Winter-Alahan (Jane Hazlegrove) eyes him, concerned, as Debbie makes an emotional speech, thanking her loved ones for their support before declaring Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan) the love of her life.

Kit’s unable to contain his emotions and escapes to the backyard, where Todd finds him and implores him to tell him what’s wrong.

Wednesday, September 9

As David promises to share the load with Shona as he returns, Jodie is burned by a rejection from Kit. Sneaking into Sarah’s flat, she hides when she realises Kit and Bethany are there and overhears something that utterly blows her mind.

Kit’s temper is tested when he accidentally bumps into Ross Wilkes (Ian Burfield) in the pub, causing him to spill his drinks as he clutches his chest in pain.

Elsewhere, Dylan Wilson (Liam McCheyne) apologises again to Betsy, while Sally shows Carla some information she’s found about a local fashion course for Betsy and Tim is taken aback to learn that Lucy doesn’t want to go to her mum’s funeral.

Thursday, September 10

Jodie plays mind games with Bethany over a manicure, before announcing that she’s booked a visit with Sarah, after which Bethany heads to see her mum, concerned at what Jodie is up to. Heading to confront her later, the clash is halted when Jodie finds her dad, Doug Ramsey (Steve Evets), at the door.

Back at home from the funeral, Lucy admits her disappointment that her dad wasn’t at the ceremony, it was the only reason she turned up.

Meanwhile, Todd pushes Kit to open up to his family, Carla helps Betsy apply for the fashion course after Shona worries to her that David doesn’t trust her to be alone with the children.

Friday, September 11

Lucy talks Shanice Michaelis (Molly Kilduff) into going to the Kabin alone, but she’s brought back by Brian Packham (Peter Gunn), leaving Sally convinced that Lucy was behind the entire situation.

Doug is confused to find Jodie pretending to be Shona in the café, before later explaining to Shona that his bipolar is under control on his new medication and implores her to help rebuild their relationship. A rattled Jodie warns him to not spoil things, while eying David.

Also, Ryan Connor (Ryan Prescott) organises a manicure for Betsy, but when Bethany arrives to do her nails, Betsy grabs her head in agony, terrified she’s suffering another stroke.
